As a subcontractor of RAC Rohrleitungsbau, we provided container construction for a cold depot at Klinikum Chemnitz. In cooperation with end customer “eins energie”, the container was constructed in a bolted design with epoxy-coated system plates. This design offers a cost advantage compared to previous tank construction methods. The container and the stainless steel roof were designed statically to withstand overpressure. This was proven in the pressure test following a successful watertightness test.
